A bit about us: Dance To EvOLvE is a mobile children's dance company, and is unique as we don't have ‘one' studio. Through our great teachers, we offer high quality classes in recreation centers, schools and other venues all around Cleveland, Chicago, and San Diego. We have specialized in ages 2-12 years in ballet, tap, and hip hop since 2008. We are a team who love what we do and love the dancing kiddos!
Our mission is to evolve our students through dance while creating heart-warming smiles! We have a vision to become the #1 choice in children's dance classes! (You'll see from all the exclamation points that excitement, bubbliness, and high energy is key around here.)
A bit about the role: Most importantly, we are looking for the perfect culture fit who can help us grow our company! We can adjust some of the administrative/office tasks to fit your strengths, and will cator the hours and responsibilities accordingly. You would teach regular, long-term classes in San Diego, as well as be our go-to instructor if there is a need for a last minute-substitute. For that reason, some weekends and or evenings will be required. (Yeah, this section got a bit more serious, but we are also hard workers who want to grow with the company.)
The dance teacher portion of this position would give you multiple weekly children's classes in tap, ballet and/or hip hop in our San Diego area division.
The Marketing and Events Coordinator piece would help us engage with potential students, parents and teachers. You would be the "face" of Dance To EvOLvE at various events throughout the year, as well as be an integral part of our showcase coordination and execution. You would also assist our marketing department with social media and other marketing efforts.
The Basic Requirements:
Dance teaching experience in ballet, tap and hip hop.
College degree preferred
Understand how to wear a lot of hats and change priorities as needed
Self-starter and team player
Aligns with our mission, values and goals
Developing and maintaining relationshps
Fully vaccinated, willing to complete a background check, and have reliable transportation.
