  • Responsibilities

    Job Description

    • Provide nutrition counseling and medical nutrition therapy to adult and/or pediatric clients using an integrative & functional approach
    • Maintain thorough, accurate, and timely documentation of client care
    • Coordinate care with other care providers/ treatment team
    • Perform relevant administrative tasks
    • Create and maintain professional relationships with other providers to ensure an excellent reputation in the community and online
    • The position will be remote for the time being d/t COVID, but could include in-office work again at some point
    • Full time (25 client hours/ week) preferred although we would consider a minimum of 15 client hours/ week
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    REQUIRED:

    • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) or Certified Nutrition Specialist (CNS)
    • Washington State Certified Dietitian (CD) or Certified Nutritionist (CN)
    • At least 1-2 years of post-internship work experience as a RDN or CNS
    • Some kind of education or training in integrative & functional nutrition with eagerness to continue to learn
    • Fat Positive/ Health at Every Size (HAES) aligned

    PREFERRED:

    • Nutrition degree from an integrative & functional nutrition program
    • Completion of a comprehensive integrative & functional nutrition training program
    • Certified LEAP Therapist (CLT)
    • Other certification (i.e. CDCES, CSP, etc.)

    • Have strong interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills
    • Have high standards of personal and professional integrity and ethics, with the ability to practice a high level of confidentiality regarding clients and practice
    • Be knowledgeable and experienced in nutrition counseling approaches and modalities (i.e. motivational interviewing), intuitive eating, and MNT
    • Be self-motivated and self-directed
    • Be excited to help grow our offerings
