DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a highly motivated, results-oriented UI/UX designer to join our team. You will play a key role in developing innovative and beautifully intuitive products in a fast growing mission-driven company. You'll be joining a team of exceptional people, delivering products to tens of thousands of customers, and helping to take our company to the next level.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• Work with the product manager and engineering team to develop amazing visual user experiences in our products
• Provide creative direction and work with cross functional teams incorporate sound UX principles into our products user interfaces
• Communicate the user experience at various stages of the design process by making compelling designs and concepts expressed visually through user personas, journey mapping, flow diagrams, wireframes, design prototypes, and other design deliverables
• Translate conceptual ideas and use cases into elegant, intuitive and engaging experiences

WHO YOU ARE:

• You have Visual design skills with ability to demonstrate excellent use of typography, color, imagery, layout, and graphic elements
• You have experience with tools such as Sketch and Figma
• You are an outstanding visual design skills and attention to detail
• You are a creative thinker who thrives in a small-team environment
• You can execute on feedback and changes rapidly
• You are excited about joining a fast-paced environment
• You are eager to make a real impact and are hungry for success

BONUS POINTS IF YOU:

• Are able to create and manipulate vector illustrations and other graphic design assets
• Have motion graphic experience
• Have design experience at a venture-backed startup

INTERVIEW PROCESS:

You'll start out with an initial call with Lauren, so you can share what you're looking for and learn more about the role and Dandy. After that, you'll come by the office (if local to NY) or video chat with some of the team to show us your portfolio and go more in depth on your experience. For this role we do not require a design exercise, your previous work should do the talking.
