A growing BioTech company in Bainbridge, GA is recruiting for an R&D Project Coordinator

The team is developing biodegradable plastics because their new technology offers substantially improved product performance for compostable/biodegradable plastics, and they have the capability to formulate resins for a very wide variety of specific applications, and focuses efforts on creating value for our customers and our partners. The R&D Project Coordinator will facilitate large projects related to new equipment installation, construction, capital expenditures, and multiple other projects of all size and scope to impact the growth of this dynamic mission.

Duties:

Oversee management, follow-up, and tracking of projects within the department in order to achieve company goals.

Work in a hands-on role to engage project stakeholders to a successful execution.

Assist with planning, management, and execution of special projects.

Communicate with vendors in quoting and implementing new tools, equipment, services, and contracts for the R&D department.

Oversee project budgets and submit PO's.

Desired Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in a scientific discipline or engineering.

Minimum of 2 years experience with project management in a manufacturing, laboratory, or production setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

Master’s Degree in a scientific discipline with quality system training,

PMP certification.
