Job Description
Job Summary:
The Wholesale Purchaser and Planner is responsible for planning, forecasting, and inventory management. This position is responsible for the purchase of inventory, tracking purchase orders to ensure timely shipments, maintaining strong relationships with cross functional teams, and driving company strategies through in-depth analysis of inventory.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
· Forecast and create inventory buys that align to established company targets and goals. Develop and maintain unit OTB plans.
· Monitor inventory levels and analyze historical data to current trends to identify risks and opportunities.
· Determine quantity and flow of deliveries to meet customer needs.
· Create and update purchase orders as well as monitor shipments to ensure goods arrive on time.
· Shared responsibility of daily, weekly, monthly, and seasonal reporting. Ability to interpret and analyze reports to further company sales and management of inventory.
· Verify invoice/purchase order discrepancies and resolve differences with factory partners.
· Build and maintain strong partnerships with multiple cross functional teams and factory partners.
· Responsible for the set-up of new items and pricing updates in company ERP system.
· Ability to create ad-hoc reporting.
· Review and analyze size and color selling and make recommendations.
· Contribute to the overall success of the company goals.

· Advanced Excell Skills (pivot tables) a must.
Experience:
Requires 3-5 years of experience in Purchasing, Planning, or Buying.
Preferred Educational Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree preferred.
