Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Review, analyze, approve and underwrite consumer mortgage requests using conventional, FHA and VA lending requirements. Review individual and corporate tax returns, credit reports, applicable ratios (DTI/LTV), property evaluation and various other factors. Determine and document loan conditions and communicate requirements and/or decisions.

Qualifications

2 to 5 years of current underwriting experience. Underwriting Conventional, Jumbo products, FHA, and VA loans. Active DE/CHUM # is REQUIRED. Additional Skills: Assist in identifying, recommending and/or negotiating alternative loan requirements, funding and/or loan requirements, funding and/or loan structuring solutions. Examine transactions to ensure accuracy and completeness within agency and FHA/VA guidelines.
