OPEN SOURCE INTELLIGENCE ANALYST (OSINT) III

DarkStar Intelligence, LLC, is actively seeking multiple Senior Open Source Intelligence Analysts to support a fast-paced, mission focused environment located at Fort Belvoir, VA.

Responsibilities

• Monitors open source social media and Publically Available Information (PAI) in accordance with established monitoring priorities, performing cursory, initial triage of content to eliminate information that is from sources known to be provocative, parodic, or similar; maintaining an internal database of sites and users known to be valuable, reliable, unreliable, or parodic; and creating cursory, standardized reports to provide to analytical team for further analysis.
• Ability to conduct independent analysis in support of mission requirements. 
• Understands and uses enhanced search procedures, and tools in support of exploiting Publically Available Information (PAI). 
• Understands and can independently apply OSINT tactics, techniques and procedures to OSINT analysis and produce Open Source Intelligence Reports (OSIRs). 
• Assists Junior OSINT analysts in the furtherance of initial analysis. 
• Provides feedback, and recommendations on tools used in conjunction with OSINT exploitation.

Requirements

• HS Diploma + 5 years experience / Bachelor's Degree + 3 years experience
• Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
• Must have three (3) years of demonstrated experience with digital signature reduction techniques.
• Working knowledge of current intelligence, threat analysis, and forecasting methodologies and tools, as well as a working knowledge of the Intelligence Community structure, authorities, and capabilities.
• Foreign language translation and analysis proficiency is highly desired
