EXPERIENCED BANK TELLER

BIRMINGHAM / FAIRFIELD LOCATION

$11.00 – Per Hour

Bank Teller Job Duties:

• Provides courteous, accurate and prompt account services to customers by receiving deposits and loan payments; cashing checks; issuing savings withdrawals; recording night and mail deposits; selling cashier's checks, traveler's checks, and series e bonds; answering questions in person or on telephone; referring to other bank services.

• Records transactions by company and branch policy including but not limited to: logging cashier's checks, traveler's checks, and other special services;

• Accurate completion of currency transaction reports.

• Provides additional customer care while answering customer inquiries; informing customers of new services and product promotions; discovering customers' needs; directing customers to a branch representative.

• Completes special customer account requests pertaining to various account services to include but not limited to; account management; processing orders for checks; processing of requests for opening and/or closing various accounts/ clubs; exchanging foreign currencies; providing special statements, copies, and referrals; completing safe-deposit box procedures

  Education:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent and 2 years of previous banking services experience.

Preferred Experience:

• Knowledge of general office procedures. Good communication and organizational skills.

• Excellent customer service skills.

• Good computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

• Ability to type and accurately enter data into various computer systems.

• Ability to work on multi tasks at one time and meet deadlines.
