Position:  Logistics Coordinator

Looking for an experienced, organized, detail-oriented, and hardworking individual to join our COVID-19 diagnostic collections team as a Logistics Coordinator. The Logistics Coordinator will be working directly under our City Manager to ensure all supplies are available, stocked, or shipped to keep all sites running smoothly in their local cities. Dascena is a leader in healthcare developing tools and solutions that solve challenging healthcare problems. One of our initiatives is to launch accessible COVID-19 collection sites available to the general public.

Responsibilities: 

• Following health and safety protocols.
• Ensuring the smooth operation of our COVID-19 collection site.
• Facilitate the ordering of supplies needed for all local COVID-19 Testing Sites.
• Shipping of products from one destination to another.
• Receive products and coordinates delivery.
• Make sure Testing Sites are all kept at optimal supply levels.
• Continually reviews costs, rates, and/or prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possible.
• Streamlines shipping and transportation process.
• Any other related duties as needed.

Qualifications: 

• Education
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • College degree or equivalent is highly preferred.
• Experience
  • 2+ years experience in logistics coordinating.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting is highly preferred.
• Skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong Decision-making skills.
  • Quick Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good organization and time management skills.
  • Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.
