Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Data Analyst, Education - NYU Grossman School of Medicine Long Island - Mineola.
In this role, the successful candidate Assists with comprehensive data collection and analysis that integrates the institutional goals and initiatives addressing the overall operations of the medical education program. Responsible for preparing large quantities of data into integrated, easily visualized, accurate and timely reports for the institution and OME program levels. Also responsible for assisting with the maintenance and support of various OME tools. Expertises including data analytics with regard to medical education program operations.
Job Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's Degree in data science, information science, business administration, health care administration or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
1-3 Years progressively responsible experience in education or healthcare, quality improvement, preferably in the academic setting.
Strong project development / management experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, SharePoint)
Proficient in Tableau Desktop
Strong ability in teaching others how to optimize their use of computer programs, including Microsoft Office products, Internet browsers and Tableau dashboards.
Strong interpersonal communications skills, ability to work across disciplines in collaborative environment.
Should able to work efficiently, and accurately, and be able to prioritize multiple initiatives simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications:
Interested in developing statistical analysis capability
Microsoft SharePoint
Skilled in, or interested in learning, SQL database query language
Skilled in, or interested in learning, Python or other scripting language
Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $64,350.00 - $72,200.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
