  • Responsibilities

    An organization is seeking an experienced Data Architect to support the design and development of scalable data environments that enable effective data collection, integration, storage, and analysis. This role focuses on creating structured data architectures that support complex operational and analytical workflows.

    The ideal candidate will have strong experience designing modern data systems, building automated data pipelines, and integrating multiple data sources into reliable and scalable platforms.

    Working closely with technical teams, engineers, and analysts, this individual will help design solutions that allow data to be accessed, processed, and analyzed efficiently across a variety of systems and applications.

    Responsibilities

    • Design and implement conceptual, logical, and physical data architecture models

    • Develop scalable data pipelines and automated data processing workflows

    • Integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple internal and external sources

    • Design database schemas and data models to support analytics and operational systems

    • Build and maintain ETL or ELT pipelines for data ingestion, transformation, and storage

    • Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions

    • Support development of systems that enable real-time or near-real-time data processing

    • Ensure data systems follow best practices for security, reliability, and performance

    • Contribute to the development of scalable data environments that support advanced analytics and machine learning initiatives

    Required Qualifications

    • Active security clearance required

    • 5+ years of experience in data architecture or data engineering

    • Experience designing conceptual, logical, and physical data models

    • Experience integrating structured and unstructured data into scalable pipelines

    • 2+ years of experience developing or managing ETL or ELT workflows

    • Experience with relational and non-relational databases such as SQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or DynamoDB

    • Experience working with cloud environments and modern data platforms

    • Familiarity with tools such as Python, SQL, Elasticsearch, Docker, or similar technologies

    • Strong ability to translate technical and operational requirements into data architecture solutions

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Experience supporting advanced analytics, artificial intelligence, or machine learning initiatives

    • Experience working with large-scale or high-volume datasets

    • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Kibana

    • Knowledge of modern data processing frameworks and big data technologies

    • Experience designing secure and resilient data workflows

    • Master’s degree in a technical discipline such as Data Science, Analytics, or Computer Science

    • Relevant certifications such as AWS, data management certifications, or security certifications
