Scope of Service:
The services provided will involve maintaining and/or creating the Juvenile Justice Information System (JJIS), Criminal Justice Network (CJNET), Cost of Care (COC), Payroll, DJJ’s Learning Management System (SKILLPRO), the New Positive Achievement Assessment Tool (CAT/RAY), the New Detention Risk Assessment (DRAI), Human Traffic Screening Tool (HTST), The Enterprise Document Management Solution, Residential Electronic Medical Record (EMR), Probation Resource Booking (PRB), Facility Management System (FMS), Evidence Based System (EBS), Staff Verification System (SVS), the JJIS Database portion for the Cost of Care database, Central Communication Center (CCC) and other databases as required.
The Juvenile Justice Information System Data Architect/ Database Maintenance Support contract is based on a fix quantity of predefined service units. A service unit is defined to be equivalent to an eight-hour workday for one person.
The JJIS database maintenance support is broken out into four services:

Professional Requirements: The database administrator consultant is required to have professional working experience at an advance level to carry out the following job duties.
Working experience using Microsoft SQL 2012 through SQL 2017 environment.

JJIS Data Architect & Database Maintenance Support Details: Below are details of each JJIS database maintenance support service category.
The service units will be used towards a database administrator’s day-to-day task involved to keep the database systems up and running including daily maintenance of JJIS, JJIS WEB applications, STARS application, CJNET, the New Positive Achievement Assessment Tool (CAT/RAY), the New Detention Risk Assessment (DRAI), Staff Verification Systems (SVS), the JJIS Database portion for the Cost of Care and any other database as required for the agency
Tasks performed but not limited to are: System Backup and disaster recovery, Emergency Service, Monitoring Report, Change Requests, Database Security, Scheduled Jobs, Data Management, Inserting and Updating Date, Data Dictionary, Create and Modify Data Model, Data Transfer and replication management, Data Archiving, Create Tables and data fields, Installation and configuration of databases and servers, Data Cleansing, Software Upgrade, Trouble Shooting, Bug Fixes, Service Unit Report, Create Triggers & Create DTS\ISSI Packages.
1). Version Release Service – These units will be used towards any releases such as enhancements and bug fixes to the current JJIS, JJIS WEB applications, STOP application, CJNET, the JJIS Database portion for the Cost of Care systems and any other databases as required

2). Emergency Service Requests – These units will be used towards any after hours support (during the week and weekends) required in case of a system breakdown that would involve bringing the system back up and running in full operational mode.

3). Database Performance Management Services – These units will be used towards a database administrator’s frequent tasks involved to keep the database systems up and running including monitoring performance of JJIS, JJIS WEB applications, STOP application, CJNET, Human Traffic Screening Tool (HTST), the JJIS Database portion of the Cost of Care System and any other database as required. Proposing any future enhancements to existing systems.
