    Position Summary

    We are a leading provider of cutting-edge data center solutions, committed to delivering high-performance, secure, and efficient data center services. As a Data Center Operations Intern, you will be a vital part of our team, gaining hands-on experience in the management and maintenance of our data center facilities. This internship provides a valuable opportunity to develop practical skills in data center operations, network monitoring, and facility management.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Assist in Data Center Operations:

    • Monitor and maintain critical infrastructure systems, including cooling systems, power distribution, and environmental controls.
    • Support in troubleshooting and resolving operational issues related to network and server equipment.
    • Participate in scheduled maintenance and updates, following established procedures.
    • Assist in conducting regular audits of data center assets and inventory.

    Network Monitoring and Maintenance:

    • Monitor network performance and respond to alerts in a timely manner.
    • Help maintain network security protocols, including monitoring access logs and enforcing security policies.
    • Support network testing, ensuring system integrity and availability.

    Facility Management Support:

    • Assist in data center cleanliness, organization, and safety protocols.
    • Support the documentation and updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs) and other relevant documentation.
    • Participate in the maintenance of fire suppression, HVAC, and other critical systems within the facility.

    Collaboration and Learning:

    • Work closely with data center operations staff to learn best practices and operational procedures.
    • Participate in team meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge of data center management and operations.
    • Contribute to special projects as assigned, including data analysis and process improvement initiatives.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Currently enrolled in an accredited university or college, either at the undergraduate or master’s level.
    • One semester post-graduation
