Location: Newark, NJ (Onsite)
Salary: $80,000–$120,000

Position Overview
We are seeking a Data Developer to own the full data lifecycle — from raw source systems to trusted datasets and actionable insights that drive business decisions.
This role blends hands-on data engineering, strong analytical thinking, and a high level of ownership over data quality and clarity. The ideal candidate moves fast, thinks structurally, and delivers data solutions that leadership and operational teams can rely on.
Key Responsibilities
• Build and maintain accurate, well-structured datasets that support reporting, analytics, and operations
• Partner with stakeholders to define key metrics and reporting standards
• Translate unclear or ambiguous business questions into clear dashboards and analytical outputs
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across systems
• Proactively identify data issues, troubleshoot root causes, and prevent recurring problems
• Support ongoing improvements to the data model and reporting infrastructure
• Deliver insights that help teams make better, faster decisions
Qualifications & Experience
• 5+ years of experience in data development, analytics, BI, or data engineering
• Strong SQL skills with a solid understanding of data warehousing concepts
• Experience working with modern data stacks and reporting tools
• Ability to turn business needs into structured, decision-ready data
• Strong ownership mindset with urgency and follow-through
• Clear communicator able to work cross-functionally
