Job Description
We are seeking a talented Data Engineer with strong expertise and certification in Data Science to join our Client facing analyst team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about data science and the identification and engineering of data objects to help Client’s improve situational awareness across dynamic operating environments. The selected individual will work closely with our Clients, Policy Analysts, and AI Engineers to define data objects required to analyze governing documents for effectiveness. You will also work to extract logic and intent from governing documents and use that information to train models. Responsibilities:
o Review Governing Documents, Rule Extractions, Operational Functions, and Systems to define and engineer Data Objects for analysis.
o Collaborate with Client SMEs, Policy Analysts, and AI Engineer to define data objects for analysis.
o Prepare internal and external documentation of analysis, definition, and findings for each Client and Project.
o Present required project outputs to Client and work internally with Analyst team to prepare and collaborate on Client presentations and in meetings.
o Work closely with AI Engineer to ensure rules are correctly implemented within the system and the correct algorithm is applied to measure the Client’s governing documents.
Core Skillsets:
-> Programming Languages: Strong proficiency in Python.
-> Techniques: Proficient in Data Engineering, Defining Data Objects, Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis, and Feature Extraction.
-> Data Preprocessing: Ability to preprocess and clean text data effectively.
-> Machine Learning: Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms and their application to NLP.
-> NLP Tools: Experience with NLP techniques such as tokenization, stemming/lemmatization, named entity recognition, sentiment analysis, and text summarization.
Qualifications:
-> Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Linguistics, or a related field.
-> Certification in Data Science.
-> Experience with big data tools: Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, etc.
-> Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Java, Scala,
-> Strong analytical skills
-> Familiarity with relational SQL and NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL and MongoDB
-> 5+ years of experience in AI or machine learning, with a specific focus on NLP.
-> Demonstrated ability to develop and deploy NLP models and systems.
-> Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
-> Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders
