The Data Entry Customer Service Representative will be responsible for accurately entering and maintaining customer data in our database, while providing high-quality support and assistance to clients. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will help ensure data integrity and contribute to an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities
Accurately input customer information (names, addresses, order details, payment data) into the company’s database system
Verify and correct data discrepancies to maintain up-to-date records
Respond promptly to customer inquiries via phone, email, or online chat, providing clear and courteous assistance
Resolve basic account issues, such as order status, billing questions, and address updates
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., sales, billing, and technical support) to escalate and resolve complex customer concerns
Produce routine reports on data accuracy and customer service metrics
Maintain confidentiality of customer information and adhere to data protection regulations
Identify process improvements to streamline data entry workflows and enhance customer satisfaction
Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or coursework in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field preferred
Proven experience (1–2 years) in data entry, customer service, or administrative support roles
Exceptional typing speed (minimum 50 WPM) with high accuracy
Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with CRM/database software
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; bilingual skills (Spanish/English) are a plus
Detail-oriented mindset with the ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks
Ability to problem-solve and escalate issues appropriately when needed
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively
