Position: Overnight Data Entry Specialist

Schedule: Friday – Tuesday | 10:30 PM – 7:00 AM
Pay Rate: $19.80/HR, Paid Weekly 
(Compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.)

Position Overview:

The Overnight Data Entry Specialist is responsible for accurately entering, reviewing, and maintaining high volumes of data while meeting strict deadlines. This role requires strong attention to detail, excellent typing accuracy, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum typing speed of 40 WPM (test scores must be listed on resume).
• Proficient in 10-key by touch.
• Ability to read, write, interpret, and speak English fluently.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and accurately under heavy workloads and tight deadlines.
• Proficiency with complex data entry processes.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and work independently.
• Proficient with PC applications, including Microsoft Office Suite and Skype for Business.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.

Preferred Skills & Experience:

• 1–3 years of data entry experience.
• Familiarity with healthcare terminology.
• General knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 codes, including modifier usage.
• Understanding of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs).
• Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines.
• Ability to quickly learn new systems and adapt to evolving processes.
• Strong self-learning capabilities based on client and project instructions.

Working Conditions:

• May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment.
• The ability to lift up to 30lbs.
• Use of computers and technology.
