Job Description

• Prioritizing specimens based on a set of criteria.
• Entering patient information on a specimen-by-specimen basis.
• Identifying discrepancies and errors, taking corrective actions, and communicating to the appropriate party for corrections.
• Managing daily workload and assisting the processing supervisor in delegating excess workloads.
• Any additional duties will be delegated by management.

Qualifications

• Efficient and accurate data entry skills required.
• Requires outstanding attention to detail and focus on quality control.

Additional Information

Job Type:

• Full-time: Monday - Friday
• Shifts: 9am - 5:30pm

Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years of data entry experience - Dermatopathology or anatomic pathology experience is highly preferred. Medical Terminology is a plus.
• Strong computer skills - MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, etc.)

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required. Degrees in Biologic Science a plus.
