About the role:
As a Data Governance Analyst at Altium, you'll be a key player on a team dedicated to continuous improvement and enhancement of our Salesforce platform. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Salesforce's architecture and capabilities, with the ability to align technical solutions with our evolving business goals.This role requires collaboration across departments to gather requirements and translate them into scalable user friendly solutions. Excellent communication skills are essential, you should be comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels and explaining complex technical concepts in a clear, relatable way.
In addition to configuration and support responsibilities, you'll help shape our Salesforce governance and change management practices to ensure a stable and effective platform.
Responsibilities:
The ideal candidate should have a well rounded knowledge of different products and clouds and will be responsible for:
All aspects of User and License Management including new user setup/deactivation, Roles, Profiles, Permissions, Public Groups,Organization-Wide Defaults, & Sharing rules
Salesforce configuration changes, including (but not limited to): Process Builder, Flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports
Data Governance, Change Management, & Data Policies
Perform ongoing data cleansing, deduplication, and normalization within Salesforce (Accounts, Contacts, Leads, Tasks, etc)
Conduct regular data audits and recommend improvements to the overall structures and data model
Identify and gather requirements, translating into best practice, scalable solutions with a focus on exceptional user experience
Monitor user adoption and drive improvements through training, enablement, and platform enhancements
New user and ongoing user training
Create and maintain Salesforce technical documentation
Identify unused or underutilized platform features, connected apps and, apex
Work with integrated applications including Ringlead, NetSuite, DocuSign, Boomi and more

Has a strong background designing Flows
Qualifications:
Strong Salesforce product knowledge and at least 3-5 years of hands-on Salesforce Administration experience with Sales or Service Cloud
Strong Salesforce Revenue Cloud knowledge and at least 1-2 years of hands-on experience administering CPQ
Strong knowledge of Salesforce automation tools, including Flow
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Familiarity with Salesforce governance and change management best practices
Salesforce Administrator Certification required; additional certifications (e.g., Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, CPQ Specialist) are a plus
Bachelor's Degree
Certified Salesforce Administrator required; additional certifications (e.g., Advanced Admin, Platform App Builder, CPQ Specialist) are a plus
Salesforce Revenue Cloud Specialist certificate preferred
