Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Data Reporting Analyst to oversee and manage the exchange of data between internal and external systems while supporting enterprise reporting and business analytics initiatives. This role focuses on designing, maintaining, and optimizing data integrations and reporting processes to ensure accurate, reliable, and secure data flows across multiple platforms and applications.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with data pipelines, APIs, database systems, reporting tools, and analytics platforms, along with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and actionable insights. This position plays a critical role in maintaining data integrity, enabling data-driven decision-making, and supporting system interoperability across enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain data integration solutions, including APIs, automated workflows, and data pipelines.
Ensure accurate and reliable data exchange between internal systems and external platforms.
Develop, maintain, and optimize business intelligence dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
Utilize business analytics and reporting tools such as AWS QuickSight, Qlik Sense, Tableau, and Power BI to analyze and visualize enterprise data.
Build and maintain interactive dashboards, KPI reports, and executive reporting metrics.
Monitor and troubleshoot data integrations, ETL/ELT pipelines, and reporting systems to maintain performance and reliability.
Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical integration, reporting, and data analytics specifications.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data mapping, reporting requirements, and analytics needs.
Perform data validation, data quality checks, reconciliation, and root cause analysis to ensure data accuracy and integrity.
Develop and maintain documentation for integration processes, data models, reporting workflows, and data mappings.
Work with developers, database administrators, and system owners to support system upgrades, migrations, and new implementations.
Assist with integration and reporting testing, including creating test cases and validating results.
Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and privacy standards.
Support continuous improvement initiatives related to data architecture, reporting frameworks, and analytics operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Experience with business intelligence (BI), data reporting, and analytics platforms.
Hands-on experience with reporting tools such as AWS QuickSight, Qlik Sense, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
Experience creating dashboards, KPIs, executive reports, and data visualizations.
Knowledge of data integration and interoperability across structured and unstructured data environments.
Experience working with database management systems, SQL queries, table relationships, and views.
Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes, data pipelines, and data transformation tools.
Experience with data warehousing concepts (Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or similar platforms).
Knowledge of data modeling, data governance, and data quality management.
Familiarity with APIs, data mapping, and automated data workflows.
Strong analytical, reporting, and troubleshooting abilities.
Experience working with multi-stakeholder technology programs or vendor environments.
Experience supporting or implementing cloud-based SaaS platforms.
Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
Minimum Qualifications
Associate degree and three (3) years of related experience, or
Two (2) years of experience in a comparable IT Business Analyst or Data Integration role.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in healthcare, insurance, regulatory compliance, or quality assurance industries.
Familiarity with data governance and regulatory environments.
