    Position Overview The Denver Indian Center, Inc. (DICI) is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented KCP Data Manager to oversee data collection, management, reporting, and evaluation for the Kinship & Commitment Program (KCP). The KCP strengthens Native families and community connections through relationship education, economic stability supports, and culturally grounded services. The Data Manager will ensure accurate documentation of participant information, program activities, outcomes, and grant-required performance measures while honoring Indigenous data sovereignty and community values such as respect, confidentiality, and relational accountability. Key Responsibilities Data Systems & Management ● Develop, maintain, and improve data systems supporting KCP implementation ● Manage participant intake data, attendance, service usage, referrals, and outcomes ● Ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and secure storage ● Establish data quality assurance processes and conduct regular audits ● Coordinate with program staff to ensure timely and accurate entry of program data ● Maintain compliance with all confidentiality, HIPAA-equivalent, and funder standards Reporting & Evaluation ● Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual program reports for internal stakeholders and funders ● Track key performance indicators and outcome measures required by HEART or other funders ● Support program evaluation activities in partnership with evaluators or consultants ● Translate data into clear visuals, dashboards, and summaries usable by staff and board ● Assist in grant reporting narratives related to measurable program outcomes Compliance & Ethics ● Protect participant privacy and maintain strict confidentiality ● Ensure compliance with federal and state grant reporting rules and organizational policies ● Uphold principles of Indigenous data sovereignty and trauma-informed data practices Program & Team Collaboration ● Train program staff on data entry procedures and documentation expectations ● Provide regular feedback to program staff on trends and data-driven improvements ● Attend team meetings and support continuous quality improvement initiatives ● Work collaboratively with finance staff to align service delivery numbers with billing/reporting Qualifications Required ● Bachelor’s degree in data management, public health, social sciences, evaluation, information systems, or related field OR equivalent relevant work experience ● Experience managing program or client data in a nonprofit, tribal, social services, or health-related setting ● Strong proficiency with databases, Excel/Google Sheets, and reporting tools ● Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records ● Ability to handle confidential information ethically and responsibly Preferred ● Experience working with Native American/Indigenous communities ● Knowledge of federal grant reporting requirements (e.g., ACF/HEART or similar) ● Experience with case management or program databases (e.g., Apricot, ETO, nFORM, etc.) ● Familiarity with research methods, evaluation, or performance measurement ● Understanding of culturally responsive and trauma-informed data practices Core Competencies ● Strong analytical and organizational skills ● Clear written and verbal communication skills ● Respectful approach to community data and stories ● Ability to work both independently and within a team ● Commitment to DICI’s mission and values Work Environment & Schedule ● Primarily office-based ● Occasional evening or weekend hours for program events and reporting deadlines ● Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods and use standard office equipment How to Apply Interested candidates should submit a resume and brief cover letter describing interest and relevant experience email to hiring@denverindiancenter.org
