  • Responsibilities

    Data Monitor Systems, Inc. is looking for a highly motivated individual to provide administrative assistance, protocol support, training monitoring, administrative advice, requests for personnel actions management and consultation, security and miscellaneous tasks to government officials to which they are assigned.  You must be able to simultaneously perform several tasks, maintain multiple high-demand task lists, and always remain calm and professional.  This is a contract position in support of the Program Executive Officer Special Operations Forces Sustainment Activity (PEO SOFSA) located in Lexington, KY.

    Duties include:

    Administrative Support

    • Provide managerial, clerical, and admin support
    • Monitors and ensures the execution and coordination of personnel actions are completed
    • Perform duties as the primary Defense Travel System (DTS) manager

    Protocol Support

    • Handling all aspects of visits, conferences, tours, and functions for distinguished visitors to the PEO SOFSA
    • Meet and escort visitors and dignitaries as required

    Training

    • Coordinates all required training for PEO SOFSA personnel
    • Maintains training records to ensure all personnel are current

    Advice and Consultation

    • Responsible for drafting policy and procedures, providing managerial advice, and coordination with higher echelons on program management studies and facilities
    • When requested, will analyze programs, policies and procedures to identify deficiencies and provide recommended corrective actions

    Security

    • Handles sensitive and classified information in accordance with security policies and procedures

    Miscellaneous

    • Conduct and coordinate routine activities such as:
    • o Compose and prepare correspondence
    • o Develop reports and prepare briefing packages
    • o Manage organizational and staff calendars
    • o Manage front office

    Minimum Requirements:

    • High School Diploma
    • Familiarity with ATAAPS (Automated Time Attendance and Production System) or comparable timekeeping system is a plus
    • Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel, Power Point, and Word
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
    • Capable of performing all Administrative Specialist functions with minimal supervision
    • Working knowledge of the SOFSA mission, applicable HQ USSOCOM policies and procedures, and ability to singularly ensure the SOFSA Front Office operation is fully compliant with HQ USSOCOM regulations
    • Minimum 2 year experience working as an Administrative Assistant, in a Level I capacity
    • Secret clearance required
