  • Responsibilities
    • Investigating, analyzing and resolving production data quality issues reported by various stakeholders. This will include communications with the requestors, SME’s, stewards and product owners and may be in the form of ad hoc face to face, email, and/or meetings
      
    • Monitor scheduled data quality rule failures, triage issues, and transfer to appropriate team for resolution
      
    • Support the Data Governance function and participate in various activities implementing policies, processes, standards and technology
      
    • Work with development teams, both internal to GA and external data providers, to resolve data quality issues at the source
      
    • Collaborate with GA business units including Actuary, Operations, Finance and Legal/Compliance teams, to execute on strategic projects and initiatives
      
    • Partner with other IT teams to integrate Data Quality Management across all data domains
      
  • Qualifications
    • Undergraduate degree with focus on Finance, Accounting, Information Technology or other related programs
    • 1-2 years as data or systems analyst
    • 1-2 years in financial services
    • Proficiency with data management tools & technologies, including SQL, Amazon Redshift, Hive, Tableau, Aqua Data Studio, etc.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel & Word (VBA and Visio experience a plus)
    • Ability to analyze issues, quantify impact, and clearly document for stewards and stakeholders
