About the Role:

Innovative Tech Solutions Inc is looking for a talented and driven Data SME Consultant with Microsoft expertise to join our growing team in Washington, IN. Responsibilities:

Serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on data architecture, governance, and Microsoft data platform solutions

Design and implement data solutions using Microsoft technologies such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse, Power BI, and SQL Server

Collaborate with clients to assess data needs, define requirements, and deliver strategic recommendations

Develop and maintain data pipelines, data models, and ETL/ELT workflows

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to project teams on Microsoft data best practices

Support data migration, integration, and transformation initiatives across client environments

Communicate complex data concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Data Consultant or Data SME in a professional services or consulting environment

Deep expertise in Microsoft data technologies including Azure, SQL Server, Power BI, and/or Synapse Analytics

Strong understanding of data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL/ELT processes

Microsoft certifications (e.g., Azure Data Engineer, Azure Solutions Architect) preferred

Experience gathering and translating business requirements into technical data solutions

Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a consulting setting
