HOW YOU WILL MAKE AN IMPACT:

The program prepares participants for roles of growing responsibility through assignments, structured learning and formalized feedback. You will have the opportunity to harmonize with senior Data Science and IT leaders and participate in various key Data Science initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Customer Experience Intern on the Customer Channels Group (CCG) Operations team, you will develop insights and strategies to improve the customer experience and commercial engagement for nearly 240,000 customers worldwide. This position provides a unique opportunity to demonstrate multiple skills, including data analysis, process evaluation, statistical modeling, optimization, project and organizational change,

• Demonstrate machine learning and automation to enhance business processes.

• Work with our data scientists and business customers to improve predictive models.

• Develop visualization and key performance indexes to measure effectiveness of marketing plays.

• Develop models that classify and predict customer behavior.

• Optimally respond to requests for ad hoc analyses.

SKILLS EMPLOYED IN THIS JOB WILL INCLUDE:

• Extracting data from multiple sources, cleaning and validating for duplicates and other anomalies.

• Creating efficient tables and files to feed into our machine learning processes.

• Employing math and statistics into algorithms to generate real-time predictive systems.

• Writing code from scratch to create solutions that don’t align with any available turnkey packages.

• Understanding and employing efficiencies that will make code run fast while maintaining precision.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Applicant must be confident and comfortable with their math skills as they will be used extensively.

• Applicant must be proficient in either SQL or Python and be able to quickly become comfortable in both.

• Must embrace team spirit and have strong interpersonal skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Have taken 3-4 math courses, Calculus and Statistics preferred.

• Experience with cloud computing preferred (e.g. Google Cloud, AWS, etc.).

• Exposure to a variety of operating systems and computing platforms.

• Familiarity with available Open Source solutions that will boost the team’s efficiency.
