****Position Description:

Responsible for designing, building, and deploying data models for machine learning and artificial intelligence (AI) applications. This person will also be responsible for identifying business problems, defining data requirements, identifying data sources, qualifying the pedigree and lineage of each source, and implementing the data acquisition strategy.

Duties :

• Work closely with clients in classified and unclassified settings to define business questions and challenges
• Develop mathematical and/or statistical models in response to the clients' questions and to address their challenges
• Define explainability metrics for each model and understand the effects layering models have on explainability
• Integrate models into backend software development workflows
• Ensure model inference meets performance and high quality standards
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver machine learning and artificial intelligence solutions to be utilized by end users
• Demonstrated experience briefing results of data-driven models to C-suite level executives
• Demonstrated understanding of how to express data results in terms of risk acceptance and mitigation

Skills :

• Proficiency in analytics and data mining
• Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and AI technologies
• Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, R, Python, or SAS
• Knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS for data processing and storage
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow

Requirements :

• Pursuant to Executive Order 12968, August 2, 1995, this position requires U.S. citizenship
• Current U.S. government top secret clearance with eligibility for SCI and counterintelligence scope polygraph

Ideal candidate will have experience in the Department of Defense or Intelligence Community.

Salary Range: $170,000 - $200,000

Security Clearance: TS/SCI with CI Polygraph
