Required Skills
What you will do:
- Technical Solution Design & Development: Design, develop, and deploy technical solutions for projects using development methodologies. Utilize MSF technologies to design, debug, and unit test programs and components for business applications. Analyze and evaluate existing systems built on MSF technologies for improvements, ensuring feasibility and architectural compliance. Conduct systems analysis to define program specifications and reusable components. Create solutions and predictive models using analysis and techniques to measure design outcomes and consequences.
- Data Analysis and Business Intelligence: Lead and execute data and statistical analysis to solve business problems and generate business insights. Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for capability and requirement analysis. Develop and maintain dashboards and prepare reports or correspondence on project status and specifications.
- Project Leadership and Stakeholder Management: Provides leadership on small/medium projects spanning onsite and remote business and technical teams. Serve as the primary liaison with business stakeholders to communicate status, discuss proposals, and resolve issues. Identify, escalate, and report issues and risks to stakeholders proactively. Mentor IT and business professionals, applying expertise in systems analysis and design to address business problems.
- System Support and Maintenance: Ensure system quality and stability by performing functional testing of modules post-customization. Establish, implement, and maintain systems, continuously monitor and supervise system performance, and execute production failure troubleshooting and maintenance. Prepare business documentation, provide technical awareness and insight to users, and conduct user training. Complete assigned projects.
Required Experience
What you will need (minimum qualifications):
- Associate or technical degree AND three (3) years' experience of Data Analysis/ Business intelligence or a combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience in the specified programming language. This often extends beyond basic syntax to include understanding of libraries, frameworks, and best practices associated with the language.

The job will involve tasks such as writing, testing, debugging, and maintaining code; developing software applications; performing data analysis; or automating processes using the designated language.
Perform job duties in a safe and responsible manner in accordance with MSF safety guidelines and ergonomic recommendations and report unsafe conditions to leader or Safety Committee
Working conditions:
Fast paced general office environment. Some stress may occur. Regular travel not expected but may occur occasionally around organizational specific events or during the course of employment. Requires sitting for extended periods of time, standing, visual acumen, manual dexterity, detailed verbal communications and fine finger manipulation for working with computer keyboards.
Job Location: This position may require occasional on-site presence in the Helena, MT office. **
Compensation and Benefits:** Pay range 4Bi. Starting salary for this non-exempt position begins at $103,600 - $129,500. The maximum of this range is $155,400.
