    We’re seeking a Data Scientist to help us transform this rich data ecosystem into actionable intelligence that powers content strategy, marketing, personalization, and revenue growth.

    This role will split their time between our Rutherford, New Jersey office (2 days) and working remote (3 days). Flexibility is provided.

    What You’ll Do :

    • Design and implement machine learning models to analyze and classify user engagement, audience segments, analytics, and content.
    • Develop predictive models around user behavior, content performance, and lead scoring
    • Work with large datasets in BigQuery, joining first-party and third-party data sources (GA4, Omeda, etc.)
    • Collaborate with editors, marketers, and engineers to build prototypes and deploy data products
    • Explore and define metrics for content relevance, quality, and performance across our ecosystem
    • Build dashboards and reports that surface insights for stakeholders across the business
    • Contribute to the enhancement of ETL processes and data governance in collaboration with engineering

    Must-Haves: The Essentials for Success

    • 3+ years of experience in a data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics role
    • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related field
    • Proficiency with Python and SQL (experience with BigQuery a plus)
    • Experience building, validating, and deploying models in production
    • Familiarity with Google Analytics 4, Bombora, or similar marketing intelligence platforms
    • Solid understanding of data modeling, feature engineering, and model evaluation
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate data insights into business strategy

    Bonus Skills: Stand Out From the Crowd

    • Experience with Microsoft technologies, including SQL Server and .NET
    • Exposure to content recommendation systems or NLP-based content classification
    • Prior work with editorial or media data sets
    • Familiarity with Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar BI tools

The annual base salary range for this role is $125,000-$160,000 and is commensurate with experience.
