Position Overview: The Data Specialist manages data migration, analysis, and transition activities for a federal Data System, ensuring accurate reporting and risk mitigation. This role supports the transition, ongoing operations, and decommissioning, delivering critical insights for ACL.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute the transition plan, supporting data migration during the 3-month handover period.
Analyze system performance metrics for weekly/monthly reports, identifying trends and issues.
Generate custom reports (e.g., CMS Unique IDs, MIPPA Performance), correcting data inconsistencies.
Assess and document risks, maintaining trackers with mitigation strategies.
Execute data migration for decommissioning, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
Support stability analysis, identifying utilization patterns for monthly reports.
Collaborate with stakeholders to align data outputs with ACL’s operational needs.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in data science, information technology, or related field.
3+ years of experience in data analysis, migration, or transition management.
Strong skills in data analysis, report generation, and risk assessment.
Knowledge of federal IT systems, data migration processes, and compliance standards.
Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools.
Preferred Certifications:
Certified Data Professional (CDP)
PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP)
