HELP DESK TECHNICIAN
DSS, LLC, is seeking Help Desk Technicians for our office in Sterling Heights, Michigan. Our quality candidates are aggressive and highly motivated to work in our fast-paced environment.
$1,500 SIGN-ON BONUS FROM NOW UNTIL 11/13/2020!!
*FINAL $500 BONUS TO BE PAID OUT AFTER 9 MONTHS OF COMPLETED EMPLOYMENT
Competitive starting rate: $17.50 per hour
SHIFTS AVAILABLE: AFTERNOONS AND NIGHTS
- Shift premiums offered:
- 6 PM – 12 AM – Additional $1.00 per hour
- 12AM – 6AM – Additional $2.00 per hour
THE HELP DESK TECHNICIAN WILL BE THE FIRST CONTACT FOR ANY IT RELATED ISSUES AS THEY COME IN. THEY PROCESS EACH CIRCUMSTANCE WITH PRIORITY WHILE KEEPING CUSTOMER SERVICE AT THE FOREFRONT.
DESIRED HELP DESK TECHNICIANS WILL HAVE:
- Basic or beginning IT knowledge
- Proven record of dependability
- Ability to multitask and continually prioritize a changing workload
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong communication skills.
- Interest in pursuing an education and career in IT
- Flexibility with your schedule
DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Serving as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
- Provide remote support, software loading and troubleshooting for hand-held and tablet technology tools.
- Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
- Determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided by customers
