We are seeking a Scrum Master with JIRA and Confluence for a direct hire opportunity for a national public health organization.

Responsibilities:

• Apply your functional knowledge to coach a development team to focus on sprint goals, ensuring the project is successfully progressed.
• Apply basic scrum principles and concepts to resolve routine problems.
• Strengthen sustainable process improvements to help your team accomplish prioritized outcomes for project increments within schedule and planned capacity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree and 4+ years of experience as a Scrum Master serving agile teams and providing tasking and prioritization for public health or life sciences markets.
• 4 + year experience with Atlassian Jira and Confluence.
• 2+ years' experience supporting the Product Owner with maintaining product backlogs for enterprise IT systems development projects.
• Understanding of bioinformatics and genomics processes.
• Ability to proactively learn complex domains, solve problems, address challenges, and offer solutions.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal direction.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements.

Preferred Skills:

• Must have previous experience working with CDC.
• Knowledge of bioinformatics processes.
• Ability to coach a team to better outcomes using process improvement.
• Scrum Master or Agile SAFe Certification.
