We are seeking a highly skilled Solutions Architect to join a dynamic team. As a Solutions Architect, you will play a critical role in designing and maintaining Kubernetes-based infrastructure.This is a long-term contract with a hybrid -work structure requiring two days on-site in either New York, NY, or Stamford, CT.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
- Design and manage the cloud network infrastructure, optimizing performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Implement IaC principles to automate and streamline the deployment and management of Kubernetes resources.
- Collaborate with the security team to ensure the highest level of security and compliance standards within the Kubernetes environment.
- Proactively identify and resolve issues related to Kubernetes and cloud networking, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Maintain thorough documentation of architecture, configurations, and procedures for reference and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, development, and infrastructure teams, to align technology solutions with business goals.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience as a Solutions Architect, with a strong focus on Kubernetes architecture.
- Extensive expertise in cloud networking, including experience with major cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Previous experience working in the finance industry is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
- Strong knowledge of containerization technologies, including Docker.
- Experience with Kubernetes monitoring, logging, and alerting tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team and interact with stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Kubernetes Administrator - CKA) are a plus.
