Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced TLM Developer with a specialized focus on TLM Recs Premium migration and configuration projects to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in financial reconciliations within the investment banking and capital markets sector, with substantial technical expertise in TLM technologies and Oracle SQL development.
Key Responsibilities:
\- Lead migration and configuration projects for TLM Recs Premium, ensuring successful implementation across versions 2.5 and 3.x.
\- Utilize TLM tools such as Smart Studio, Web Connect, TLM View, Recon Admin, and Recs Workflow Admin to optimize reconciliation processes.
\- Develop and maintain Oracle SQL scripts, Unix Shell scripts, and Autosys jobs to support reconciliation and financial reporting requirements.
\- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into functional specifications, solution designs, and effective technical solutions.
\- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to an offshore development team, ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
\- Design and build TLM dashboards featuring Grid and Tree views, Charts, and Forms to enhance business intelligence and decision-making.
\- Conduct in-depth configuration of TLM Control and Match Rule to meet complex business needs, reducing vendor dependency and achieving cost savings.
\- Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to disseminate expertise on TLM and related tools within the organization.
\- Participate in both Agile (Scrum and Kanban) and Waterfall methodologies for software development life cycles.
Required Skills and Experience:
\- Minimum of 11 years of IT industry experience, with at least 7 years in TLM Recs Premium configuration and migration.
\- In-depth knowledge of Recon Tool technologies (TLM 2.7, TLM Recs Premium, Smart Studio, etc.).
\- Proficiency in Oracle SQL Developer, Unix Shell Scripting, and Autosys job development.
\- Familiarity with investment banking, capital markets, and various types of reconciliations (Cash, Position & Securities).
\- Proven experience with TLM Engines such as GEMS, WORKFLOW, STLFETCH, STOCK, CURRENCY, and particularly strong expertise in TLM Control.
\- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to design solutions that address challenging business requirements.
\- Strong communication skills and the capability to work collaboratively with teams across different lines of business and geographic locations.
\- Experience with internal Recon Tools such as Data Mapping Wizard, Quick Rec, Recon Portal, and Recon Monitor is highly desirable.
