David Smotrich & Partners LLP, a well-established architectural design firm in NYC, seeks highly motivated Project Architects with experience producing Construction Documents and providing Construction Administration. Our tenet is a commitment to design excellence which we define as a high level of aesthetic quality that is also functional, durable and economically sound. In order to achieve this, we pride ourselves on thoughtful designs, exacting construction documents and a hands-on approach to construction administration.  

We are seeking multiple individuals with similar ideals who possesses extensive experience for Commercial and Educational renovation projects through all phases of design and construction.  Our projects range in size from large to small. As such, we seek individuals who thrive on the energy generated from working on multiple projects simultaneously.

Project Architect Position Description:

Project Manager with a Bachelor or Master Degree from and Accredited Architectural School. Must have a minimum of 3- 4 years of experience. Candidate must be knowledgeable of each phase of design with the technical proficiency to prepare Construction Documents and knowledge to provide hand-on Construction Administration.

The ideal candidate is an all-round professional and has the ability to represent the firm well to clients.

Essential Skills Required:

·         AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office

·         Knowledge of NYC, NYS Building Codes and ADA Requirements.
