Job Description: The Day Habilitation Instructor provides adult Individuals with developmental disabilities with skill development through a combination of community and classroom learning experiences.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Assists each Individual in skill development, such as independent living, adaptive behaviors and

Provide Hygiene Assistance/Support and personal care assistance

Supervises Individuals in the community

Floats between classrooms to relieve instructors during peak periods and scheduled breaks

Provides daily progress notes

When needed assess the needs of Individuals on a 1x1 basis through observations and evaluations

Work with permanent instructors to ensure compliance in the ISP and Day Habilitation Plan

Requirements:

High School Diploma At least one year experience providing direct care service to adults with developmental disabilities CPR and 1st Aid Certifications Must have a current TB skin test CNA preferred but non mandatory Valid GA driver's license Must be available - 8:30a-2:00p M-F
