Job Description

Are you an experienced custodian looking for a great day porter/floater job?

Schedule

Day shift: Mon - Fri

Shift time: 5-6 hours/day

20-30 hours per week

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour bi-weekly with direct deposit option

Responsibilities

Travel between various sites in Livonia and the surrounding areas each day to perform janitorial work and special projects

On-call to fill in for other day shift cleaners as needed.

Pulling trash, sweeping, mopping, wiping, cleaning restrooms, operating walk-behind floor scrubber (as needed)

Perform light maintenance and repairs (as needed)

Pick-up various parts and supplies

Ability to work with others efficiently

Follow all health and safety regulations

Skills

Proven consistent working experience as a janitor (3-5 years)

Maintenance and repair skills are a plus

Ability to travel between sites each day

Ability to operate a floor scrubber (will train)

Integrity and ability to work independently

Trainable and good communicator

Requirements

Valid driver’s license

Reliable mode of transportation (personal vehicle, public transit) -No Uber, Lyft, etc.
