All About Behavior is a learning center providing behavioral services for children on the Autism Spectrum. The Day Porter is a key role in our team to ensure daily operations run smoothly and our learners are getting the best care possible.

Daily duties include:

Daily and urgent cleaning needs- Sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, sanitizing throughout our clinic, kitchen, and bathrooms. Cleaning spills and accidents; taking out trash, etc

Daily reset- Organizing & restocking supplies for therapy materials, bathrooms, etc

Maintaining the general safety of the clinic for our leaners and staff

Light Facilities repair- such as replacing lightbulbs, painting, removing broken items

Essential Skills, Education and Experience:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent;

Experience: No prior experience needed

Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of cleaning tools & techniques; familiarity with safe handling of cleaning chemicals (training provided); ability to perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs or restocking supplies.

Communication: Clear and polite; report issues or concerns effectively; basic understanding of written instructions and safety guidelines.

Organization: Prioritize tasks based on urgency; maintain facility organization; and plan cleaning routines.

Attention to Detail: Thorough cleaning to ensure no areas are missed; monitor for signs of wear or hazard; and high standards of cleanliness.

Problem-Solving: Address immediate needs quickly and efficiently; identify and report maintenance issues (e.g. malfunctioning equipment or safety concerns); and adapt to changing priorities or special requests easily.

Non-Essential Skills, Education and Experience:

Customer Service

OSHA safety training, first aid, or custodial management courses

Prior cleaning or maintenance experience

Schedule: Monday-Friday. 6-8 hours per day depending on your preference. Flexible start and stop time with required on-site from 10am-2pm.
