    WORK SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

    WAGE: $20.25-21.00/hour

    POSITION SUMMARY: Independently and with minimum supervision, the janitorial temporary touch point cleaner models exemplary behavior and provides temporary daily touch point cleaning of contracted facilities. They model exemplary service and quality to the assigned contract and facility, which includes disinfection of touch points, common area’s and surfaced throughout the contract on a routine and regularly basis to provide a clean and healthy environment for customer and the facility.

    Ensure all contractual requirements are met. Performs other assigned tasks to insure the quality of all work performed.

    As the janitorial temporary touch point cleaner, this position is a Temporary Position based on the need for the Janitorial Company and at the request of the customer. It is a temporary position that could be discontinued for service at the request of the customer.

    Janitorial temporary touch point cleaner Contractors will operate during the business hours for the janitorial customers in assigned buildings, following a specific list of cleaning tasks as assigned for that building. Travel between multiple locations to achieve this service may be a requirement of the position.

     

     

    JOB REQUIREMENTS:

    1. Must be able to pass criminal background check allowing entry into assigned buildings.
    2. Excellent modeling skills.
    3. Must be able to prioritize work tasks ensuring quality work and maintaining a high level of customer service.
    4. Ability to follow instructions and make decisions consistent with existing policies and procedures.
    5. Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing.
    6. Ability to actively participate in team development and team oriented processes, and motivate others to do so as well.
    7. Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and proof of current vehicle insurance.
    8. Physical ability to bend, twist, climbs stairs, stoop, kneel and reach overhead. Must be able to push/pull up to 50 pounds, lift up to 50 pounds, and carry up to 50 pounds regularly throughout a normal work day.
    9. Physical ability to operate various types of janitorial equipment.
    10. Ability to safely drive crew vehicles including trucks, vans box truck and other company vehicles.
    11. Ability to maintain high level of quality on assigned jobs
    12.  Ability to be available for after hour emergency calls and overtime when needed.
    13. Ability to troubleshoot issues cleaning and staff issues as they arise.
    14. Follow cleaning specifications, job orders and cleaning maps.
    15. Secure customer and work locations upon arrival and departure.
    16. Clean windows, spot clean carpets, upholstery and various janitorial related tasks.
    17. May be scheduled to visit multiple sites for one shift.


      EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

      1. A minimum of 1 year experience in general janitorial services.
      2. High school graduate or equivalent.
      3. Six (6) months prior experience in janitorial services is preferred.

         

        ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

        1. Models exemplary behavior.
        2. Provides assistance to all crew members to ensure all work is completed in a timely manner.
        3. Ensures that all work performed meets operations standards with emphasis placed on maintaining consistent quality.
        4. Performs regular Janitorial Temporary Touch Point Cleaner assigned cleaning duties to high industry standards.
        5. Fills in as required to ensure adequate coverage is available so that all work is accomplished. .
        6. Monitors supplies and usage in order to assure cost effectiveness.
        7. Ensures that all site janitorial closets are maintained in a neat and orderly manner. They are organized, clean, all chemicals are properly labeled and equipment is in working condition.
        8. Is aware of SDS books and the information they contain.
        9. Follows checklists for each contract and facility to meet highest industry standards.
        10. Ensures proper utilization of personnel (assignments) to ensure optimum efficiency.
        11. Ensures that all work performed meets the contractual requirements of each site with emphasis placed on maintaining the quality of all tasks performed.
        12. Deals with issues involving site security, specific tasks, and other situations that may occur in a timely manner, reporting and communicating them to their daytime supervisor or SCS Management within five minutes.
        13. Routinely communicates with customers via log book entries and contacts operations coordinator when problem issues arise.
        14. Complies with all local, State and Federal regulations; to include ADA, BOLI, FLSA, and OSHA.
        15. Attends meetings and participates on teams/committees as assigned.
        16. Provides input for developing and coordinating workflow and processes to create integrated employment opportunities for people with disabilities.
        17. Monitors supplies usage in order to assure cost effectiveness.
        18. Assists management with timekeeping for crew members.
        19. Ensures that checklists are followed for each contract (Q.A’s)
        20. Performs daily spot inspections at each site for quality assurance.
        21. Performs other related tasks as assigned.
