Make a Difference Every Day — Become a Community Coach
Looking for a career where every day is different?
At Community Connect, Community Coaches don't spend their day sitting in an office or providing traditional caregiving. Instead, they work alongside adults with developmental disabilities throughout Orange County—teaching life skills, building confidence, exploring the community, volunteering, working toward employment goals, and helping people create meaningful, independent lives.
You'll mentor, encourage, problem-solve, laugh, celebrate accomplishments, and help individuals discover what they're capable of accomplishing.
No two days are ever the same.
No experience is required—we provide the training.
Your Impact
As a Community Coach, you will:
• Build genuine relationships with participants
• Teach real-life skills in natural community settings
• Support employment and volunteer experiences
• Encourage independence rather than doing things for people
• Help individuals develop confidence, communication, and self-advocacy
• Create meaningful opportunities for social connection
• Celebrate progress—big and small
• Document participant growth and collaborate with your team
Physical Requirements
This is an active, community-based position.

• Walking 1–3 miles throughout the day
• Standing for extended periods
