🏆 Day Time Shift Lead – Head Coach of the Day Squad
Calling all all-star leaders! At Good Life Sports Bar & Grill, we’re looking for a play-calling, game-managing, vibe-setting powerhouse to lead our team through the day shift like a seasoned head coach. From opening kickoff to final whistle, you’ll keep the plays tight, the staff fired up, and the fans (guests) cheering for more.
If you thrive in a fast-paced, sports-filled arena and know how to rally the team to perform like pros, this is your shot to lead the league in hospitality.
🎯 Your Playbook (aka What You’ll Be Doing):
Pre-Game Setup: Open the field (a.k.a. the restaurant) like a boss—clean lot, powered-on neon, music bumpin’, and all screens showing the day’s big games.
Team Huddle: Run a strong pre-shift meeting, hype your squad, and make sure everyone knows the plays, specials, and expected performance.
Mid-Game Adjustments: Whether it’s a guest complaint or a missing player (hello, no-show), you pivot like a pro and keep service flowing.
Service MVP: Float between FOH and BOH, running table touches, checking plate presentation, and high-fiving happy guests.
Inventory Hustler: Stay on top of beer, liquor, garnishes, napkins—whatever the team needs to win the shift.
Cash Handling QB: From drawer counts to safe audits, you keep the bank tight and secure like a financial linebacker.
Closing the Game: Run post-game reports, double-check clock-outs, finalize tips, and lock it down cleaner than a shutout win.

Check and post the day’s sports schedule like it’s the game lineup—fans want to know what’s playing!
Confirm POS tabs, fix errors, and make sure all employees are clocked in and ready for action.
Maintain bathroom, bar, and kitchen setup standards—nobody wins on a dirty field.
Communicate with the GM like a sideline headset—keep them in the loop on all plays.
Rotate stock like a pro—FIFO is your MVP move.
