    LIFE SCIENCES RECRUITER needed for a FULL TIME, STAFF role working for YOH in SAN DIEGO, CA.

    The Life Science Recruiter at Yoh is a commissioned based full cycle recruitment role tasked with identifying talent for our clients within the Life Sciences vertical. Their ability to identify top talent and build relationship with candidates for fulfillment and referrals will directly affect revenue generation for the company. Activities will include: sourcing new candidates through various job boards, building a pipeline for future needs, working with the account manager to submit candidates to open roles within the Life Sciences Sector. Recruiters regularly reach out to prospective, inactive and current candidates to build relationships and discuss the exciting opportunities Yoh can provide them. Most importantly, recruiters are tasked with providing clients with the top talent in the industry while providing the best candidate experience possible to ensure both return to Yoh for future staffing needs.

    THE WORK YOU’LL BE DOING:

    • Drive overall Spread Growth.

    • Utilize basic and innovative candidate sourcing techniques in order to identify and qualify talent

    • Determine applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants; analyzing responses; verifying references; comparing technical qualifications to job requirements.

    • Become an expert in the life science space and consult with the account manager to understand client and industry needs.

    • Ensure local market alignment with Life Science initiatives related to client targeting.

    • Establish candidate expectations and effectively communicate to appropriate parties.

    • Coordinate with your centralized life science delivery teammates once a job requisition has been identified / generated and qualified.

    • Research and develop new candidate relationships throughout the local market by way of participating in professional associations, trade shows and other public relations opportunities.

    • Achieve and exceed all key performance indicators utilizing various strategic and tactical recruiting techniques.

    • Leverage Bullhorn to manage current candidates and build pipelines for future needs.

    • Determine and implement appropriate marketing techniques for market, industry and region.

    • Promote Yoh services through participating in professional associations, trade shows and other public relations opportunities.

    WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING TO THE TABLE:

    • A Bachelor’s Degree
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
    • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
    • Experience describing and documenting candidate’s previous experience, negotiating compensation expectations, and managing candidate expectations from sourcing to end of project.
    • Must be detailed oriented with a concern for quality expressed by continually initiating system and process improvements
    • Strong management skills based on several years of experience, including people development and team building
    • Superior consulting, leadership, management, interpersonal and mentoring skills
    • Great attitude and team player.
    • Successful completion of background screening process.

    THE BIG PICTURE – TOP SKILLS YOU SHOULD POSSESS:

    • Experience in Staff Augmentation
    • Knowledge of Life Sciences
    • Ability to build relationships.
