Responsibilities
As a Childcare Aide/Intern , you will be given the tools, resources, and training to:
Assist lead Teachers in classroom management ensuring compliance with all regulations, company standards, policies, and procedures.
Provide a welcoming & friendly classroom environment for children, parents & visitors.
Assist in creating and implementing thorough, timely lesson plans that are age-appropriate and stimulating in accordance with Celebree’s curriculum.
Assist in managing effective classroom transitions.
Assist and supervise children during all activities; counsel children as needed using positive and appropriate discipline techniques.
Ensure that the appearance, cleanliness, and safe environment of the classroom are appropriately maintained.
Present a positive and professional image at all times adhering to uniform requirements.
Communicate effectively with parents, e.g., greeting by name, addressing concerns in a timely manner, giving positive feedback, and providing regular updates on their child’s development and classroom happenings.
Qualifications
Meet the requirements to be a aide/intern as approved by the governing State agency.
In the absence of Aide/Intern certification Celebree's promise is to support and mentor aspiring candidates toward the goal of attaining certification.

This position requires basic knowledge and understanding of the behavioral and developmental stages of children and knowledge of childcare licensing requirements.
The ability to assist in managing a classroom, including strong organizational, communication (verbal and written), and problem-solving skills. patience, flexibility.
Education/Experience: Ideal candidate will have TECE 1 and/or 2 certifications or valid CDA.
Physical Demands: The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. The job requires frequent bending, stooping, squatting, reaching, lifting and carrying; ability to lift 50 pounds.
