    Position Overview: We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Daycare Custodian / Teacher Assistant. This role is essential in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for children and staff, while also providing occasional classroom support during staff breaks.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Perform daily laundry duties (bedding, linens, etc.)

    Clean and maintain hallway floors

    Handle mid-day trash collection and disposal

    Light mopping during naptime as needed

    Clean interior windows and glass surfaces

    Perform routine carpet cleaning and upkeep

    Maintain general cleanliness and sanitation throughout the facility

    Step in as a Teacher Assistant during staff breaks, supporting classroom activities and supervision

    Requirements:

    Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

    Comfortable working in a childcare environment

    Must be dependable and punctual

    Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods

    Positive attitude and willingness to help where needed

    Prior experience in cleaning, custodial work, and childcare is a plus

    Must pass a background check

    High school diploma or equivalency certificate (GED) required
