Support lead teachers with classroom routines and activities

Help children with meals, transitions, play, rest time, and daily care

Maintain active supervision and safety awareness

Encourage positive behavior with calm, respectful guidance

Help keep classrooms clean, organized, and ready for learning

Communicate respectfully with children, families, and coworkers

Step in where needed to support the school day

Requirements

Must meet Virginia childcare employment requirements

Must pass required background checks

Prior childcare experience is a plus, but reliability, attitude, and willingness to learn are very important

CPR/First Aid preferred, or willingness to obtain
