About the Role:

Join MT Olive Daycare Center in East Point, GA, as our Daycare Nutritionist/Chef, where you'll play a vital role in crafting nutritious and delicious meals for our little ones. Responsibilities:

Plan and prepare balanced, age-appropriate meals and snacks for children.

Ensure all meals meet dietary guidelines and nutritional standards.

Monitor and adjust menus based on seasonal ingredients and dietary needs.

Educate staff and children about healthy eating habits.

Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment in compliance with health regulations.

Collaborate with parents to accommodate specific dietary restrictions.

Conduct regular inventory checks and manage food supplies efficiently.

Participate in food-related activities and events to promote nutrition awareness.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Culinary Arts, or related field preferred.

Previous experience in childcare nutrition or a similar role is a plus.

Knowledge of dietary guidelines and food safety regulations.

Strong culinary skills with a passion for creating healthy meals.

Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

CPR and First Aid certification preferred.

Background check clearance as required by state regulations.
