The Learning Experience in Collierville is seeking a dependable and organized Cook to support our school community by preparing nutritious meals for children and staff. This role plays an important part in ensuring children receive healthy meals while maintaining high standards for kitchen safety and cleanliness.

What You Will Do

• Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks according to the center menu • Follow all food safety guidelines and health department standards • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment • Manage food inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed • Ensure proper food storage, labeling, and temperature monitoring • Support teachers and staff during meal and snack times when needed

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred • Previous experience in food preparation or kitchen environments preferred • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices • Ability to maintain an organized and clean workspace • Ability to lift at least 25 pounds
