About the Role:
The Learning Experience – Riverton is looking for a passionate and nurturing Daycare Teacher to join our growing team in Riverton, NJ! This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children every single day, helping them learn, grow, and thrive in a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities:
Plan and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities that promote early childhood development
Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment for young learners
Monitor and support children's social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development
Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and daily activities
Maintain accurate attendance records, daily logs, and developmental assessments
Ensure classroom cleanliness and adherence to health and safety regulations
Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to foster a positive team environment
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education preferred
Prior experience in a daycare, preschool, or childcare setting is a plus
Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Ability to pass a background check in accordance with state childcare regulations
Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
Genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their growth
