Location: The Learning Experience – South Lyon Township, MI Pay: $16–$18 per hour Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday

The Learning Experience – South Lyon Township is seeking a compassionate Daycare Teacher to provide exceptional care and early education for young children. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a fun, nurturing environment where children can safely explore, learn, and grow through play.

What You'll Do

Provide attentive care and supervision for infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children

Plan and lead engaging, age-appropriate learning activities

Encourage language, social-emotional, cognitive, and physical development

Support daily routines including meals, naps, toileting, and transitions

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom environment

Build positive relationships with families and coworkers

Follow all Michigan childcare licensing and health and safety requirements

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required

Previous daycare, childcare, or preschool experience preferred

CDA or Early Childhood Education coursework is a plus

Caring, dependable, and energetic

Strong communication and teamwork skills
