We are looking to add compassionate, dedicated, and reliable individuals to our team of teachers. We are interviewing for multiple positions/shifts.
The right candidate will be able to establish consistent, caring relationships with the children in their care, successfully implement the provided curriculum, keep children on a predictable schedule, model expected behaviors, use positive behavior management practices, and be kind and responsive to the children's needs.
Duties include:
- maintaining the daily schedule
- curriculum planning/scheduling
- implementing the provided curriculum as planned
- building positive, trusting relationships with the children
- using positive, responsive approaches to behavior management
- changing diapers/assisting with toileting
- cleaning and disinfecting toys and surfaces
- following all state- and center- mandated policies and procedures
- communicating professionally and respectfully with parents
Qualifications (Required)
- CCCBC background check in the last five years
- up-to-date CPR/Pediatric First Aid Certification
- at least 6 months daycare experience
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Child Development Associate or Early Childhood Ancillary Certificate
- experience in implementing play-based curricula
- up-to-date Key Modules, Bulletin 137 modules, and health courses as found on the LDOE website
applicants with a CDA or ECAC are eligible for a $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days of work
