Payscale: $14hr to 17hr depending on education and experience.

Responsibilities:

Help employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, educational play, media, etc.) to teach children. Have Fun!

Observe and build relationships with each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem. Have Fun!

Assist in guiding children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers, or colors, crafts, etc.) Have Fun!

Supervise children to ensure they are always safe.

Help maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards.

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age and have a High School Diploma or GED.

1-2 years’ experience working in a licensed childcare facility preferred.

CDA, degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education or related field is a plus+
